Aisling Coughlan was born in Dublin in 1962, and gained a degree in psychology before taking up part time study at The National College of Art and Design in Dublin.
She has exhibited in the group exhibition at the Inishbofin Arts Festival for two years and takes part each year in the Incognito Exhibition at the Solomon Gallery in Dublin.
Aisling is a figurative artist and works with primarily in acrylic and watercolour. She draws most of her inspiration from the people and animals she loves. She responds to the emotional nature of this process.
